  1. Hah - I used to snicker at the CrossFit 'beating the big truck tire with the hammer' - then one day I was playing around with trying to come up with whole body, full core engagement workouts - and I'll be darned if I didn't change my tune.

    Another one that I've found to be a great 'whole-core' workout is the between the legs kettle bell swing high overhead. btw - at home I've found that my 4 year old is the perfect size for this. And the added bonus is that he thinks it's a blast (downside is he wants to keep going long beyond the sets I'm capable of)
